Control upgrades are available for Slicers' Micon 80 and Micon 186 users. Support and parts for theses two control is still available but on a limited basis. For under $10,000.00 you can upgrade your old Micon control to the new Micon X-CEL control. X-axis, Y-axis, and turret drive upgrades are also available for customer with the older DC brush type motors. Using Indramat Digital AC brushless drive and motors will provide many more years of reliable service and reduce your maintenance cost. These drives are basically maintenance free, state of the art, and very affordable. If you're living with 70's and 80's technology, why not start the new millennium with the Micon X-CEL control upgrade. It will increase your productivity, guaranteed.
If you have an older punch press or production machine that needs a modern control, Slicer can help. Slicer can also provide rebuilt punch presses for a fraction of the cost of a new machine. Slicer provides a full one-year warranty on materials and workmanship, along with training, documentation and drawings.
